Beach day two

Oh how I love bank holidays.

Today Hank, Henry and I went down to Dana Point to get coffee and bagels at the Coffee Importers. I went there once with Laura, my friend and former coworker from the book store, and remembered it was great and right in the harbor. I forgot, however, how far away Dana Point is from our house. It's like 35 miles. But adventure is out there and we went to find it. Also, I forgot how cold it can be by the water. Thankfully I was the only one under dressed, but I looked super cute. Henry and Hank had plenty of warmth. Henry loved watching the boats and the birds fly around, and I love bundling him up to keep him warm. There were a lot of patterns going on in Henry's ensemble...proof that I was the one that got him ready. He matches much more when Hank dresses him.

After bagels, boats, birds and cappuccinos we drove up PCH and decided to stop by the bookstore so Jane, Robyn and Lisa could finally meet h. It was really great to see them, and perfect since Mondays are the only day they are all in the store together. It was a great visit and Jane gave Henry the cutest french toy, that will give Sophie a run for her money in the cute french toy department.

While driving up PCH Hank and I dreamt of renting a VW bus and camping up the coast...then we realized neither of us can drive stick. So, we'll need another plan. It was a great day spent by the sea. Thanks Martin Luther King Jr.

AGOG with God said...

♫Beach baby, Beach baby there on the sand...♫ Yea for a 'super cute' mom, a trip to a favored book store complete with co-worker/friends, and stick shifts yet to be learned.
