Kindle home

I know, I know, I never stop talking about this kindle. But this post is more craft related than kindle related.

I was recently getting rid of clothes, again and still, and found a scarf I made years ago. I still really liked the yarn, but never wore the scarf, so I decided to repurpose the yarn for a sleeping bag for the kindle.

Step one was pulling out all the yarn
Step two was finding a ripple pattern I could use. I ended up finding a pattern for a clutch that I was able to manipulate and it worked unbelievably well, no math required.
Step three was to ignore Henry for a few hours and crochet. I did it mostly during naps, but hank was nice and watched him so I could craft.

I didn't plan to finish it in a day but once I saw the finish line I sprinted toward the end. Which means if you turn the pouch inside out you can tell I didn't weave any of the ends in.

I plan to add buttons to secure a closure and make it even cuter, but I'm really pleased with the outcome.
