Office life

One of my favorite things about working in an office is our storage room. It's the room that we keep our office supplies in. It's filled with binders, staples, pens, rubber bands and other office necessities. It's like free back to school shopping for your desk.

My desk has needed a little reorganizing since my responsibilities have changed at work so today I headed to the storage room to grab some things for my desk and to stock up on different sized post its. It reminded me of You've Got Mail, "if I knew your name and address I would send you a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils."

I was also avoiding starting my day and enjoyed the distraction of organizing. Much like how dental hygiene became very important in college when papers were due.

It was a perfect friday activity.
