The Sense of an Ending by Julian BarnesMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
I told hank today, "I'm reading a book, but I don't really know what it's about." I then added, "but it's good."
About half way through this book I realized I didn't know what the plot was. Shortly after that point I figured out what kind of novel this was. Here's a hint, when you're half way through a very short book and there doesn't seem to be a clear plot, the plot is not the point.
It was a good, sad, subtle, well written novel. I had to listen to the last ten minutes twice before having the faintest clue how the thing ended.
