Today Henry and I took a trip to Target. It was one of the first times I went with the intention to do some browsing, instead of my super market sweep approaches. I still feel super new to motherhood when it comes to outtings with Henry. I felt like telling everyone it was my first time out. By myself. And look, he's doing great.
The other reason I still feel new to this gig is because I'm terribly unaware with the stroller. I'm always veering and almost running into things, or people. So I assume I stick out like a sore thumb.
Today's outting was a great success.
I figured out a genius way to carry a basket and push the stroller.
I tried on clothes and didn't lose Henry.
And I made it out of the store without Henry flipping out.
Note: Henry didn't flip out at all and he came home and napped immediately.
Also, I got clothes that fit. I think post pregnancy clothes are really important. I didn't know I would feel this way, but I do and Hank is a big proponent to me not wanting to light my clothes on fire.
